Interested in becoming a member of the Parker Fire
Department?
Requirements:
- Minimum Age - 18
- Meet physical agility requirements
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Complete Fire Fighter Basic Certification requirements in 14 to 16
months. (This requires 167 hours of classroom and hands-on training)
- Attendance at in-house training sessions
- Attain Class B license in order to drive a fire engine
- Able to respond to emergency calls
- Able to operate in a "chain of command" structure
Optional training typically pursued by our members:

Emergency Care Attendant - 64 hours

Emergency Medical Technician - Approximately 180
hours

Intermediate Fire Training - 206 hours

Advanced Fire Training - 192 hours

Driver/Operator - 44 hours
