Interested in becoming a member of the Parker Fire Department? 

 Requirements:

• Minimum Age - 18
• Meet physical agility requirements
• Able to work in confined spaces
• Complete Fire Fighter Basic Certification requirements in 14 to 16 months.  (This requires 167 hours of classroom and hands-on training)
• Attendance at in-house training sessions
• Attain Class B license in order to drive a fire engine
• Able to respond to emergency calls
• Able to operate in a "chain of command" structure

Optional training typically pursued by our members:

• Emergency Care Attendant - 64 hours

• Emergency Medical Technician - Approximately 180 hours

• Intermediate Fire Training - 206 hours

• Advanced Fire Training - 192 hours

• Driver/Operator - 44 hours
